Author Guidelines
The Journal of Engineering Innovation and Global Impact (JEIGI) is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal that publishes original research examining the impact of engineering innovations, emerging technologies, business transformation, environmental sustainability, consumer welfare, and global economic development.
The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academicians, industry professionals, policymakers, and practitioners worldwide.
1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted
GJMIS accepts the following categories of submissions:
1.Original Research Articles

5.Technical Notes
6.Policy Papers
Word limit - though not very stingent, but it should be in between 1500 to 4000 words , depending upon the subject .
2. Manuscript Formatting Requirements
File Format : Manuscripts must be submitted in:
-Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
PDF submissions will not be accepted.
Font and Spacing
Font: Times New Roman
Size: 12 pt
Line spacing: 1.5
Margins: 1 inch on all sides
Page Numbering
Pages must be numbered consecutively.

Maximum 250 words
Structured or unstructured depending on discipline

Provide 4–6 keywords

4. Tables, Figures and Images
Must be clearly numbered
Include titles/captions
Submit high-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI)
Authors must obtain permission for copyrighted materials
5. Referencing Style
JEIGI accepts: APA (7th Edition) or IEEE
Authors must ensure consistency throughout the manuscript.
In-text citations : used inside the manuscript where you mention someone else’s idea, data, or quote.
In-text Citation in the Manuscript (follows the Author–Date format)
Sentence:
Social media marketing has significantly changed consumer purchasing behavior (Sharma, 2021).
Example B: Direct Quote (when using exact words from the source)
Sentence:
“Digital advertising has become the backbone of modern marketing strategies” (Sharma, 2021, p. 45).

Reference list → full details of all cited sources, placed at the end of the paper under the heading “References.”

In manuscript text:

At the end of the manuscript:

Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list, and every reference list entry must be cited in the text.
6. Ethical Guidelines
Authors must confirm that:
1. The manuscript is original
2. It is not under consideration elsewhere
3. No plagiarism exists
4. Proper citations are provided
5. Ethical approval has been obtained where required
6. Plagiarism above 15-20% similarity index may lead to rejection.
7. AI Usage Disclosure
If AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Grammarly AI, etc.) were used in writing, editing, or data analysis, authors must disclose this in the manuscript.
AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
8. Peer Review Process
1. Initial editorial screening
2. Double-blind peer review
3. Reviewer comments sent to authors
4. Final editorial decision
5. Average review timeline: 2–6 weeks
9. Article Processing Charges (APC)
1. APC is applicable only after manuscript acceptance
2. Authors will receive payment instructions separately
3. Articles proceed for publication only after APC confirmation
4. Fee waivers/discounts may be considered in exceptional cases.
10. Copyright Policy
Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors are required to complete and sign a publication licensing agreement before the article proceeds to final publication.
The Journal of Engineering Innovation and Global Impact (JEIGI) follows an Open Access publishing model, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without subscription barriers.
Under this policy:
1. Authors retain the copyright of their published work.
2. Authors grant the journal the right to publish, archive, distribute, and promote the article.

provided proper citation to the original publication in JEIGI is included.
11.Open Access Policy
The Journal of Engineering Innovation and Global Impact (JEIGI) is committed to promoting the unrestricted dissemination of scholarly knowledge and follows a full Open Access publishing model.
All articles published in JEIGI are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, allowing readers worldwide to access research without subscription fees or registration barriers.
